We thank you for your patience, understanding and flexibility as we work through this ever-evolving situation. In the days and weeks ahead, we will provide updates on this webpage about our continued efforts to safeguard our community.
We’re monitoring COVID-19 closely: As part of our preparedness protocol, we have been closely monitoring and assessing the impact of COVID-19. As information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and World Health Organization (WHO) changes, and new guidelines are shared by local health agencies, Ingleside will continue to update our preventative measures in accordance with the guidance we receive.
We’re continuing to take actions to protect our residents and staff: Ingleside communities have implemented their pandemic plans and are following well-established procedures for ensuring continuity of service. This includes putting various processes and procedures in place that are designed to limit the spread of the virus.
Out of an abundance of caution and our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our community, effective immediately, we have implemented the measures described below.
Non‐essential visitors will not be allowed on campuses
We are following the latest guidance from the CDC, CMS and the local health agencies and we are only allowing visitors for “end of life situations or if they are essential for resident care.” Non-essential vendors and contractors, other than for emergency situations will not be permitted.
No deliveries will be made to resident apartments by outside vendors. All deliveries will be left at the concierge stations. Community staff will deliver the items to the resident’s door.
Social Distancing and Closing of Common Areas
Social distancing may be the most effective way for people who aren’t infected with the coronavirus to avoid getting it. But it does lead to some major changes in how we lead our lives and how social interactions occur.
We understand the importance of everyone’s emotional health and are striving to make sure people are feeling connected, while also following the safety guidelines from the CDC.
We encourage family members and residents to stay connected through use of phone, email, facetime, skype, and other similar platforms.
The following will be revaluated on a regular basis as per the monitoring of jurisdictional and federal guidance.
