Ingleside at Rock Creek Silver Tea and Gala
Ingleside at Rock Creek Silver Tea originated in 1906, produced by the Ingleside Women's Board on the first Sunday of May with the traditional silver bowl to collect donations. In 2013, the Women's Board joined forces with IRC residents to produce a "Silver Tea and Gala." 111 years later, and the event is definitely one not to be missed. The 2017 was held in May and raised over $90,000 for the IRC Resident Supporting Fund.

"The Silver Tea is not just a time to celebrate, it's a time to help others. It's amazing that in the beginning of the 20th century a group of women had the vision of what they could do for people who could not afford any care in their elder years." - Barbara Mathias-Riegel
